Hello, I have a problem with MySQL.

I try to execute this code:

DataTable table = MyCon.GetSchema("Tables");
string providername = "MySql.Data.MySqlClient";
DatabaseReader dbReader = new DatabaseReader(MyConStr, providername);
var schema = dbReader.ReadAll();

and then error

MySQL version 5.6.7

DataBase Shema Reader v1.2.5.0

it's possible there's some privileges required- for InnoDb tables you need Process privilege. The database schema reader requires you to have sufficient privileges (it can't circumvent the security model).

otherwise, MySql has changed their metadata somehow. I don't see anything in the documentation. The referential constraints table is still listed against MySql 5.6 so it should be there:

The current general available release is still 5.5.28 (5.6.7 is a Release Candidate released September 2012; there was a 5.6.8 release November 2012).

I'll get a recent version and see if it's ok.

I'm running MySql 5.6.7-rc

No special configuration, just standard databases- sakila, world, northwind, a couple of real world schemas.

Database Schema Reader reads the databases fine.

Could it be a permissions problem?

Thank you, I reinstall MySql, delete appserv and then all reads fine.
